Kingsmead Recreation Ground
Access to Kingsmead Recreation Ground is from either Kingsmead Road or from Fennells Road, which is off the London Road.
The recreation ground has three cricket tables.
The recreation ground is also the home of the South Buckinghamshire Netball Association and the High Wycombe Rugby Club.
Please note: you may not use remote controlled vehicles (including drones) or metal detecting equipment on any Buckinghamshire Council open space.
Other facilities in the park include a toddler play area, senior play area, basketball hoops, public toilets and car parking. There are two large car parks, one situated off Fennells Road and the other at the far end of the ground off Kingsmead Road.
The primary use of the ground is for formal sports.
There are rivers both sides of the recreation ground. On the A40 side is the River Wye and on the Kingsmead side is the Marsh Brook (Back Stream).
The area is also used for dog walking, walking and informal sports. We remind dog owners to clean up after their dogs by placing dog poop in the red bins provided. We appreciate your co-operation as it helps keep our parks clean and safe for all users.
