High Wycombe skatepark

Following consultation with local boarders and careful evaluation of tenders received, a design created by Freestyle was chosen for the High Wycombe skatepark. Freestyle proposed a "street style" skate park, created for use by several boarders at the same time. Construction work was completed in October 2008 and the park, which boasts driveways, transitions, flat banks and rails has proved to be very popular.

The skatepark can be found at Archway (under the railway viaduct by Sainsbury's car park), close to the bus station and safely reached from Frogmoor via the pedestrian subway. It was funded by Sainsbury's, Network Rail - as part of their "No Messin'" campaign - and Wycombe District Council, with the Council being the majority funder.

Wycombe District Council is one of the five previous authorities in Bucks that, as of 1st April 2020, now form Buckinghamshire Council.
