Delivery and Site Allocations Consultation 2011

On Friday 12 August 2011 we published an update to the Delivery and Site Allocations document. Consultation on this document started on Friday 2 September and closed on Friday 14 October 2011. This follows previous rounds of consultation on the document in 2007, 2009 and 2010.

The Delivery and Site Allocations document sets out our plans to support the town and district centres, including specific policies for High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough town centres and plans for regenerating key town centre development sites, and puts in place vital policies to manage future development across the district. Please note: This document supersedes earlier versions of the DSA (2007, 2009 and 2010).

Events

As a part of the update, two briefing sessions on the Delivery and Site Allocations document were held at our council chamber in the Queen Victoria Road offices. Stakeholders and members of the public were invited to attend these events.

A further briefing event was held at The Hub in Easton Street to discuss the High Wycombe Town Centre Masterplan and ask questions.

An exhibition was on display in the High Wycombe library between 2 September and 14 October. Council officers were present at the exhibition to discuss the proposals and answer questions on the following dates:

An online discussion was held with council officers and members of the public to discuss the High Wycombe town centre masterplan on Thursday 29 September.

Position statement on housing and land for business

We have recently agreed a position statement on housing and land for business. This sets out our position on a number of general policy and site specific issues relating to housing and business development. These issues used to form part of the Delivery and Site Allocations document but will now be addresses in the forthcoming review of the WDF Core Strategy.
