The PublicAccess website pages are owned and operated by Wycombe District Council. Set out below are the terms and conditions which represent all the terms and conditions on which we will provide you with access to data licensed from Ordnance Survey and others, including data created by the Council for use with licensed data.

Your continued use of Public Access indicates your acceptance to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please cease using Public Access.

Data protection and availability of online documents

Wycombe District Council seeks to comply with all statutory requirements including the Data Protection Act (1998) in all its transactions.

Please note that any comments received will be made available in full for inspection at our offices on request. They will also be published in full on our PublicAccess website.

We will obscure areas of documents that relate to signatures, phone numbers or email addresses where these are published online. However, it is possible that we may miss something. If you notice something that causes concern, then please contact us.

If you are submitting comments online, there are some simple steps that you can take to protect your data:

  • Do not include personal information, other than your name and address within the body of your letter or email.
  • There is no need to sign your representation if submitting electronically, although your name and address should form part of the document.

Public Sector Mapping Agreement terms and conditions

The data licensed from the Ordnance Survey includes all base mapping, large scale mapping, address data and Council mapping and information based on Ordnance Survey mapping (the 'Licensed Data').
Use of this Licensed Data is subject to these terms and conditions:

  • You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty free, revocable licence solely to view the Licensed Data for non-commercial purposes for the period during which Wycombe District Council and GeoPlace LLP makes it available;
  • you are not permitted to copy, sub-license, distribute, sell or otherwise make available the Licensed Data to third parties in any form; and
  • third party rights to enforce the terms of this licence shall be reserved to Ordnance Survey.
