Reserve sites infrastructure issues
The Reserve Sites Infrastructure Roundtable, established in March 2015, is investigating the impacts, and possible solutions, to infrastructure issues relating to the release of the reserve sites. The group is made up of representatives of the liaison groups, local Bucks CC members, the Chiltern Society and the High Wycombe Society. The roundtable has received presentations from the various infrastructure providers since April 2015.
Reserve sites infrastructure delivery plan
We have published a reserve sites infrastructure delivery plan. This report sets out the requirements for transport, education, open space, and health for the proposed development of the reserve sites (Abbey Barn South and North; Terriers Farm; Gomm Valley & Ashwells, and Slate Meadow).
We consulted on a draft of the infrastructure delivery plan between 25 January and 7 March 2016. We have published a report on the outcomes of the consultation, alongside the final version of the infrastructure delivery plan.
The infrastructure delivery plan includes a summary of the proposed transport mitigation measures. Our consultants, Jacobs, jointly commissioned with Buckinghamshire County Council, has produced a separate transport report as supporting evidence.
Abbey Barn Lane position statement
This document produced by Wycombe District Council and Bucks County Council sets out the Council’s response to the recommendations set out in the Transport Framework in relation to the Abbey Barn Lane area. It also takes account of further technical work commissioned by the Councils in 2017 considering the scope to realign Abbey Barn Lane and reconfigure the junction with Kingsmead Road. The documents sets out the priorities for Abbey Barn Lane and how any development proposals in the vicinity should respond to the preferred outline scheme.
Our consultants, AR Urbanism, ran an all-day workshop event on Saturday 7 March 2015. Following the event they produced a report of their findings and the key points raised at the meeting.
