Community Safety Partnership

Wycombe Community Safety Partnership is a multi-agency group working together to tackle crime and disorder within the district.

The community safety partners work to:

  • reduce crime
  • reduce the fear of crime
  • tackle anti-social behaviour
  • improve the quality of life for the people of Wycombe district

Working for a safer Wycombe

The Wycombe Community Safety Partnership plan [PDF | 327KB], outlines the partnership's priorities for 2017 to 2020 to improve community safety in the district.

We conduct regular surveys to gather people's views about crime and anti-social behaviour. The results help us decide the areas to focus on in the partnership plan.

Based on the crime data and analysis undertaken, the current priorities are:

  • tackling anti-social behaviour and crime
  • safeguarding our communities
  • working together to address child sexual exploitation
  • building community resilience

Comunity safety partners

The partnership has allowed us to share information and resources and as a result helped us to have a more positive impact on the quality of life for residents across Wycombe district, than we would as individual organisations.

However, none of this would be possible without the involvement of local communities who are such a fundamental part of this work.

By taking joint responsibility we will not only help to reduce and detect crime, but will also achieve sustainable outcomes for the future, in a more civil society.

The partnership has established links with many organisations and groups from the local community.
