Schedule of charges

Our aim is to make as much information as possible freely available through our web site. Where this is not possible the information we have produced a schedule of charges which specifies our charges for providing you with information.

  • If you require assistance researching information we charge a flat rate of £25 per hour for this service. This rate reflects the rate applicable within the FOIA regulation 7(5). For consistency all charges listed in the schedule reflect this hourly rate. Where there is a statutory charge for information charges will still apply.

Legal documents

  • Copies of legal documents: £20 per document
  • Our charges reflect current statutory requirements and guidance


  • Under the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004, postage and other forms of transmitting the information can also be charged.

Challenges to charges

If you consider that a fee has been wrongly charged you are able to request an internal review of the decision to impose the charge. Complaints must be made within 40 working days by contacting the information officer.
