Consultation on the Abbey Barn South development brief

Consultation closed

Summary

We are seeking your views on a proposed Development Brief for the Abbey Barn South and Former Wycombe Summit ski slope sites. This document sets out how the site could be developed in the future to provide new, high-quality housing.

Purpose and detail

Our Cabinet in late 2014 decided to release the Abbey Barn South reserve site for development to help meet the Wycombe district's housing target. To this end, a liaison group made up of local members and representatives of the local community was set up to help to guide the production of this document.

The development brief identifies a series of development principles for the site and sets out parameters for future development, illustrating the type and location of buildings with artistsa impressions and the scale and character of some of the defined open spaces. The development brief also incorporates a vision for the future of Wycombe Summit.
