Consultation on new visitor facilities at the Rye

  • This consultation has closed.

Summary

We have commissioned Atomik Architecture to conduct a public consultation on the existing facilities on offer to visitors to The Rye, and to undertake a feasibility study to establish what new facilities or improvements could potentially be made to further enhance the Green Flag Award-winning park for its visitors.

Purpose and detail

We held an event, "Draw Your Rye" to encourage visitors and residents to sketch or paint their ideal version of the Green Flag Award-winning park in High Wycombe.

It is part of feasibility work - commissioned by the High Wycombe Town Committee following feedback from residents and visitors - being undertaken by Wycombe District Council about potential new facilities which could be added to The Rye.

The free workshop took place by the boathouse on The Rye between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday 24 September.

Method

In addition to the event, we asked for comments online.
