Consultation: draft Bledlow-cum-Saunderton Neighbourhood Plan
Bledlow-cum-Saunderton Parish Council ran this consultation.
Consultation now closed.
Bledlow-cum-Saunderton Parish Council has produced a draft neighbourhood plan for its parish area. The plan would give the parish council more control over development in itsarea.
Purpose and detail
In October 2015, Wycombe District Council designated the Bledlow-cum-Saunderton Parish area as a neighbourhood area. In January 2016 the parish council surveyed its residents and a consultation followed in February/March 2016 to inform the production of a neighbourhood plan for the Bledlow-cum-Saunderton parish area.
The draft Bledlow-cum-Saunderton Neighbourhood Plan sets out planning policies that can be used to influence planning applications in the area. The policies are intended to protect the special character of the parish and to encourage development proposals for the benefit of the local community.
The plan is supported by a sustainability appraisal report which assesses any significant social, environmental, and economic effects resulting from the policies and proposals of the plan.

Following the close of the consultation, the parish council will take into account any comments they receive, and will submit a final version of its neighbourhood plan to us. The parish council intends to do this in late summer 2016.
Once submitted, we will hold a further round of consultation on the plan, before submitting it to an independent examiner for review. Subject to the outcome of this review, the neighbourhood plan will then be the subject of a local referendum, which could take place in spring 2017.
