How to make a payment online

Please note: to pay using our online payments function you will need your account number.

Transaction confirmation

The final confirmation screen is your receipt. Your account will be debited within the next two working days.


The final screen will provide a receipt for your payments and this can be printed out. Alternatively, you can enter your email address and request a receipt to be emailed to you.


Our online payments site is a secure environment. All information is encrypted, which means that nobody can read it as it travels across the internet. The padlock symbol on your screen confirms the security.

If your card is registered with Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code you will be asked to enter your username and password during your transaction. You may also be asked to answer additional security questions to ensure that your card isn't being used fraudulently.

Problems with making an online payment

We can only respond during office hours (8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday or 8.45am to 4.45pm on Friday). Alternatively please call our automated payment line 0345 034 8660 (calls cost no more than dialling an 01 or 02 number).
