Credit card charges
Credit card payments are subject to an additional charge. This covers the amount we are charged by banks for processing credit card payments. Details of this charge will be displayed before you confirm acceptance of your payment and there is an option to cancel the transaction should you wish.
Note: Credit card charges do not apply for Penalty Charge Notices.
The final confirmation screen is your receipt. Your account will be debited within the next two working days.
The final screen will provide a receipt for your payments and this can be printed out. Alternatively, you can enter your email address and request a receipt to be emailed to you.
Our online payments site is a secure environment. All information is encrypted, which means that nobody can read it as it travels across the internet. The padlock symbol on your screen confirms the security.
If your card is registered with Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code you will be asked to enter your username and password during your transaction. You may also be asked to answer additional security questions to ensure that your card isn't being used fraudulently.
