The musicians of the Chiltern Camerata close their current season with a concert of music by Mozart and Mendelssohn on Sunday 9 June at the Church of St Lawrence in West Wycombe.

Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.

This concert is characterised by  beginnings and endings.  The programme includes the first and last symphonies of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart:  His symphony No. 1 was written in 1764 at the age of eight.   His magnificent final symphony No. 41 -  The masterpiece 'Jupiter' - was composed 24 years later, just three years before his death. We welcome to the concert the celebrated violinist Alexandra Caldon for a performance of the ever-popular Mendelssohn Violin Concerto.
