Two public consultations

people having their say

Two consultations are taking place over the coming weeks, giving the public the chance to voice their thoughts on new temporary accommodation in Desborough and a new cemetery for High Wycombe.

Providing more accommodation for those who need our help

We are running a public consultation over the next two weeks asking for people’s feedback on proposals for new temporary accommodation for the district, at the site of Desborough Road car park.

A drop-in event will take place at Wycombe Arts Centre (main church exhibition space) on Desborough Road between 1 and 8pm next Thursday (18 October). Information on the proposals will also be available on our website from Thursday 18 to Wednesday 31 October.

Comment forms will be available at the drop-in event and there will also be an email address for people to send comments to. The proposals are subject to planning permission, and a planning application will be submitted this December.

A new cemetery for High Wycombe

Following the initial public consultation event last Tuesday (16 October), a second event will be held on Thursday 25 October to show plans for the new cemetery on Penn Road in Hazlemere. The event will take place at the Wycombe District Council offices on Queen Victoria Road between 4 and 7pm, and we welcome feedback from the public and stakeholders.

Visitors will be able to view and comment on the proposed designs.

You can also have your say by completing our online public consultation form.
