Council considers responses to parking survey

More than 400 people responded to a recent questionnaire that invited residents to give their thoughts about all aspects of Wycombe District Council’s car parks.

Comments and views were submitted on paying by card and cash, cleanliness, lighting, cost and access.

The council is now considering the responses and looking at ways to make improvements.

One step the council will be taking in the near future is to review the parking system itself. When cabinet met on Monday 12 November they gave the go-ahead for officers to identify and procure new parking systems. These new systems could be in place by the summer of 2019.

Cllr Julia Adey, Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “I would like to thank everyone who took the time to have their say about our car parks.

“There have been many really helpful comments and observations and we will be looking to see what improvements we can make over the coming months.”
