Ashwells planning application submitted

We have submitted a planning application for the infrastructure required to bring forward our land at Ashwells for new housing development. Up to 102 homes are planned.

The proposals are based on constructing a new road access into the site from Cock Lane, south of the existing Ashwells housing estate. The proposals reflect Bucks County Council highways’ requirement to widen Cock Lane. Our design seeks to do this as sensitively as possible, restoring the hedge line, greening the visibility splay and improving footpath connectivity. The proposals also include local off-site road improvements.

The aim is for the council to complete the infrastructure and dispose of serviced sites to housebuilders and some serviced plots to self-builders, with an onus upon good quality design, materials and public realm.

We are looking at ways to include some starter homes/shared equity houses for first-time buyers with local connections.

You can view the planning application, 18/05002/R9OUTE, on our planning website.
