Kids' block proposed for Handy X Hub

Handy X from the back

Handy X Hub could soon host even more facilities for children, if planning permission is granted for the next phase of the development.

The proposed new development – which is near the entrance to the site – will be a nursery and a toddler gym. At just over 800 square metres, the development will also finish off the adjacent small public park.

If planning permission is granted, builders will be on site in the autumn, with the new facilities opened by summer 2018.

Handy X Hub is already home to the new Wycombe Leisure Centre, the coachway park and ride and a Waitrose. The site is owned by Wycombe District Council and is being redeveloped as part of the council's comprehensive major projects programme, which regenerates areas as well as creating an income stream to help fund district council services.
