Wycombe Lotto website is live!
Following the launch to local good causes last week we are now encouraging local causes to find out more out more about the lotto.
The website is now live and tickets will go on sale at the end of June with the first draw at the end of July. If you are involved in a local charity or community interest company, please do help spread the word.
Local good causes who partner with us will earn 50p from every £1 ticket sold.
Speaking at the launch, Leader Cllr Katrina Wood said: “I know how hard it can be these days to get volunteers to spare some extra time in their busy lives.
"I know how hard it can be to raise funds when there are so many other good causes asking people to donate and I also know that unlike many of the ‘big brand’ charities out there, you probably don’t have vast marketing budgets or teams of fundraisers to help you.
"I passionately believe that local charities and good causes deserve our support just as much, if not more than, the big national charity brands and this is an easy way we can help you to raise more money.”
The new Wycombe Lotto is only the tenth of its kind in the whole country. Tickets will be sold online through local good causes and on the Wycombe Lotto website by direct debit.
The first prize draw will take place at the end of July with prize draws every Saturday night. Find out more at www.wycombelotto.co.uk – the site is live now!
