Farewell to the tourism team

This week we are saying farewell to six members of the tourism team who between them have almost 68 years of service at Wycombe District Council.

The tourism team have been through an untold number of changes over the years with the most recent being a merger of the service with Bucks County Council Libraries, which is due to take place on 1 April.

Alison Brothers, Kim Farrell, Hannah Cassell and Richard Macdonald will continue to be familiar faces at the High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough Libraries greeting both local residents and visitors.

After over 25 of service Karen Attfield will be pursuing an exciting new craft business venture and spending time with her family.

Clare Francis will be continuing her hard work promoting the District as a great place to visit and supporting local tourism businesses in her new role as Tourism Project Officer within the Community services team.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the team for their continued hard work, dedication to the service and passion for promoting tourism. We wish them every success in the future.
