Meet the players

Following the recent success of the Wycombe Wanderers open day in April, a special 'Meet the Players' day on Thursday 19 August invites families to a fun filled football afternoon with an opportunity to meet players from Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.

The family friendly event held at Wycombe Museum from 2 - 4pm is free, with players from Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and Football in the Community on hand to sign autographs and offer ball skills activities within the Museum grounds.

The event will highlight the link between Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and chair making in Wycombe by hosting a number of activities including, a football themed trail, badge making, a behind the scenes visit to the chair store and the opportunity to listen to a short talk on 'Wycombe Wanderers - Why are they called The Chair Boys?'
