CCTV Lay Panel Annual Public Meeting

The Annual Public Meeting of the Wycombe CCTV Lay Panel will be held in The Council Chamber at Wycombe District Council, Queen Victoria Road on Monday 15th February 2010 at 7pm.

The Lay Panel is a voluntary body, comprising local citizens, and is charged with monitoring the use of CCTV in the Wycombe area to ensure that it is used appropriately and within the framework permitted by the relevant Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts and also to advise Wycombe District Council on its best use, efficiency and efficacy.

At the Annual Public Meeting the Panel will formally present its Annual Report to the Public. This Report can be seen on the Council website in the Community & Living section, under Community Safety.

After the formal presentation of the Report, there will be the opportunity for members of the public to ask the Panel questions about its work and there will also be representatives of Wycombe District Council present to answer questions about the operation and use of the CCTV cameras.
