Your town - your say
22 February 2012
Local residents are invited to have their say about short term plans to improve the public space in High Wycombe town centre, during an online discussion hosted by Wycombe District Council next Tuesday on 28 February from 5 to 7pm.
The Council's masterplan sets out the long term vision for High Wycombe town centre. The online discussion, which will be hosted on the "Planning live" section of www.wycombe.gov.uk, will focus on local people's views on what should be regenerated and enhanced in the short and medium term.
Cllr Hugh McCarthy, Wycombe District Council's Cabinet Member for Planning and Sustainability, commented: "The High Wycombe masterplan sets a challenging, long term vision for the town centre which will guide our short term improvement decisions. Thanks to the input during the public consultation last year, and more recently from local businesses, interest groups and the county council, we're producing a five year action plan for the town centre. We want to give local residents the opportunity to tell us whether we've got our short term priorities right. I would encourage any local resident who is online between 5 and 7pm on Tuesday 28 to join in the conversation."
