Wycombe District Council’s Building Control Team enjoy success at awards

Wycombe District Council's Building Control Team are celebrating after winning two regional Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards.
The Team scooped a regional small housing development award for Best Housing - Small Developer / Development; in Stokenchurch and the Best Sustainable Development for Cressex Community School. The two winning categories have been automatically entered into the National LABC Building Excellence Awards which will be held in London in November.
Cllr Hugh McCarthy Cabinet Member for Planning and Sustainability commented: "The awards recognise the very best in project and partnership working between building control and the design and construction professionals. The success at these awards is a just reward for the hard work and professionalism of our Building Control Team."
