Grants available for community groups

Is your community group based in the Wycombe district? Are you looking for funding? If you answered "yes" to both of those questions, then perhaps you should consider applying for an Annual Revenue Grant from Wycombe District Council!
Grants are awarded to non-profit making voluntary and community groups for the provision of activities or services which benefit local residents and which contribute to Wycombe District Council's priorities.

Community Support grants are just one example of how the Council continues to support voluntary and community groups throughout the district and welcome applications from organisations who meet the grant criteria. Grants are available from £1,500 and to apply groups need to complete an application form. All applicants must demonstrate that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and include evidence of the need for the amount applied for, supported by the group's accounts, in their application. Any groups applying for more than £10,000 must also submit a business plan.

The deadline for applications to be received at Wycombe District Council's Queen Victoria Road offices is noon on Friday 29th October 2010. All applicants will be advised of decisions by the beginning of January 2011.
