Buckinghamshire County Council are responsible for maintaining adopted roads and pathways throughout the county. They are responsible for

  • fixing potholes
  • road gritting and snow clearance
  • salt bins
  • traffic lights
  • street lighting for large towns (High Wycombe and Marlow) and main roads
  • pavements
  • footpaths
  • road markings and signage
  • adopted roads
  • ensuring hedges and verges are maintained
