Public rights of way are the responsibility of Buckinghamshire County Council.

A public right of way is a way over which the public has a right to pass, whether or not the land that it crosses is privately-owned. Public rights of way are signposted at the roadside and may also be way marked along the route. Public rights of way include public footpaths, bridleways and byways open to all traffic.
