Penalty Charge Notices
There is a standard charge for parking in the Wycombe district. This charge is reduced for those who buy and display a ticket for the duration of their stay. However, if you do not buy and display a ticket for the correct amount or if you ignore the parking regulations (lines and signs), you will be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (parking ticket).
Our policy for the enforcement and cancellation of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) is available to download below.
Parking regulations
For the safety of people, protection of vehicles and general operation of the car park, all car park users are asked to park according to set regulations under the Traffic Management Act 2004. You can view the full text of the Act on the Office of Public Sector Information website using the link below.
A copy of our Parking Places Order which describes our enforcement powers under the Act is available to download below.
What to do if you receive a PCN
Don't ignore a PCN, it won't go away. Follow the payment instructions on the PCN. There is a discount for paying within 14 days of issue. You can pay a PCN online using our secure online payments site.
Should you wish to challenge the PCN and appeal, do not pay.
Appeals
If you are issued with a PCN, you have the right to appeal against it. Find out how to appeal against a Penalty Charge Notice.
