Forthcoming planning consultations
On Monday 14 May, the Council approved the Delivery and Site Allocations Plan for publication. The Delivery and Site Allocations Plan includes significant proposals for High Wycombe town centre, plus proposals for Marlow and Princes Risborough town centres and a series of planning policies to help deliver more sustainable development across Wycombe district.
The Delivery and Site Allocations Plan will be published on Friday 1 June for formal representations to be made. The deadline for comments to be received by the Council will be Friday 20 July. Following this, the plan will be submitted to the Government in the autumn, before a formal public examination in front of an independent planning inspector, scheduled for early next year. Further details of the publication period will be made available shortly on our website here. For further information on the Delivery and Site Allocations Plan, including previous consultations please see Delivery and Site Allocations.
Previous planning consultations
We consulted on a number of documents related to the developer funding of infrastructure from 16 March to 27 April 2012. These documents are as follows:
- Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule and related evidence
- Draft Planning Obligations SPD
- CIL Programme Approval Protocol
For further information please see Community Infrastructure Levy.
Most of the past planning policy consultations took place under the name "Imagine the Future". Imagine the Future is about engaging local people and organisations in planning the future of the district as far ahead as 2026.
The Wycombe Development Framework (WDF) is a suite of planning documents which reflects the vision for Wycombe district as set out in the Wycombe Sustainable Community Strategy and identifies how land will be used in the future.
In July 2008 we adopted the first planning document of the WDF - the Adopted Core Strategy. We are now working on the second document, the Delivery and Site Allocations plan (DSA).
