Previous planning consultations
The Council consulted on the CIL Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule from 11 November 2011 to 23 December 2011. CIL is a new mechanism introduced by the government in April 2010 that local authorities can use to collect developer contributions to support the development of the area. For further information please see Community Infrastructure Levy.
Between Friday 2 September and Friday 14 October 2011, we undertook a final round of consultation on the Delivery and Site Allocations document. The Delivery and Site Allocations document sets out our plans to support our town and district centres, including specific policies for High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough town centres and plans for regenerating key town centre development sites, and puts in place vital policies to manage future development across the district. A consultation feedback report was published in November 2011. To view a copy and for further information on this consultation please see our page on Delivery and Site Allocations Consultation 2011.
Most of the past planning policy consultations took place under the name 'Imagine the Future'. Imagine the Future is about engaging local people and organisations in planning the future of the district as far ahead as 2026.
The Wycombe Development Framework (WDF) is a suite of planning documents which reflects the vision for Wycombe district as set out in the Wycombe Sustainable Community Strategy and identifies how land will be used in the future.
In July 2008 we adopted the first planning document of the WDF - the Core Strategy. We are now working on the second document, the Delivery and Site Allocations plan (DSA).
