Sites for Gypsies and Travellers in Wycombe district
We are required by the Government to plan to meet the site/accommodation needs of Gypsies, Travellers and Travelling Showpeople. Working together with planning consultants Baker Associates, the Council has identified a number of possible locations across the district and has developed an interim policy statement (IPS) to provide a framework to meet shorter-term needs. This document was subject to public consultation in December 2009 to January 2010, and was agreed by the our Cabinet in March 2010.
This IPS draws on technical work undertaken for the Council by Baker Associates.
