Book a site inspection
Building Regulations require that any person carrying out building work should give us notice when the work has reached a particular stage. The prescribed stages are set out below.

| Stage 2 | Foundation excavated (before concreting) | 1 day |
| Stage 3 | Foundation constructed(concrete laid) | 1 day |
| Stage 4 | Damp proof course (DPC) | 1 day |
| Stage 5 | Oversite (before concrete is laid) | 1 day |
| Stage 6 | Before covering any structural timbers, steelwork or concrete | 1 day |
| Stage 7 | Drains in trench (before covering over) | 1 day |
| Stage 8 | Drains backfilled (to be tested) | 5 days |
| Stage 9 | Occupation (if before completion) | 5 days |
| Stage 10 | Work completed | 5 days |
The following are the stages at which notification should be given. Stage 6 is not mandatory but it is strongly recommended.
