Access to buildings
By improving our understanding of disabilities and what barriers affect access to buildings, their surroundings and use of services, we can hope to achieve an accessible environment that everyone can enjoy.
Improvements can benefit the older generation, parents with pushchairs and those who are temporarily less mobile due to accidents.
We have an access officer within Building Control who can provide practical advice on how to improve access to buildings.
