Athletics track

We are proposing to build a new community athletics track and pavilion at Sir William Ramsay School, Hazlemere. This district facility will replace the existing athletics track at Wycombe Sports Centre, which needs to be relocated to make way for a regional coachway and Park and Ride service.

The proposed new athletics track will offer eight lane compeition facilities, accompanied by spectator seating for approximately 100 people, a pavilion and floodlights. The floodlights will be designed to ensure that light is directed at the track itself and there is minimal light spill.

Consultation

The comments and questions received during the consultation period have now been reviewed and a 'Question and Answer' document that provides answers to the questions raised is available to download below.

Note: Full planning permission will be applied for in the autumn and there will be a further opportunity to comment at that time.
