Riverwoods
This is a stretch of open land beside the river Thames on the outskirts of Marlow.
A number of picnic tables and benches have been placed in the grass, close to the river, surrounded by magnificent Poplar trees. The Marlow Rugby Club playing fields are to be found behind the trees.
The Thames footpath passes through the site, an unmade track leading to Bourne End downstream and Marlow town upstream.
Riverwoods is situated at the end of a private road, so for car parking and toilets use Gossmore Recreation Ground, which is only a short walk away, along the Thames.
