Booker Recreation Ground
Booker Recreation Ground (Fernie Fields) is situated between Cressex Road and Havenfield Road. The main access into the ground is from Barry Close (off Cressex Road) which leads into the car park for the recreation ground. The car park is shared with High Wycombe Judo Centre.
This is a large, quiet recreation ground used mainly for dog walking, walkers and sports. In the far corner on the Havenfield side of the ground a small area is being maintained as a wildflower meadow making this an attractive natural feature to enjoy.
The site currently has one cricket table, two football pitches and changing rooms which can be booked through us. For further information and to make a booking please see our How to make a booking page.
There is also a play area situated next to the car parking area and benches are provided around the recreation ground so that people can sit and enjoy the fresh air and surroundings.
Dog walkers also use the area and dog walkers are reminded that we operate a poop scoop scheme and provides bins for the disposal of dog poop. Co-operation in this scheme is appreciated as this helps to keep our parks clean and safe for use.
