St John's Centre for Creativity
Arts and enterprise centre officially opened 4 every1

The doors to the new Arts4Every1 Centre for Arts, Creativity and Enterprise, housed in a former church in High Wycombe, were officially opened to the public on Saturday 29 October.
Located at St Johns, a former church on Desborough Road in High Wycombe, the Arts4Every1 Centre welcomed a host of amateur and professional performers as well as an exhibition of local artists' work. The Centre aims to become a cornerstone of the town centre's continuing regeneration, supporting multicultural communities, economic development and training programmes and offering events that will define the town as a major centre for innovation in the South East and as a hub for artistic and creative excellence.
Wycombe District Council has supported the Arts4Every1 project by first commissioning a business plan and then last year acquiring the former St John's Church and Hall with a view to providing a creative centre for the whole community. Following the acquisition, the council carried out much needed wind and watertight works on both the buildings, before leasing the buildings at a peppercorn rent to Arts4Every1 to manage as a Centre for Arts, Creativity and Enterprise. We have also provided a start-up grant and a grant for works to help get the Centre up and running.
