Training and development

We will ensure that you have the skills, knowledge and understanding to do your job by providing you with access to training and development opportunities. All staff have a personal development plan which helps them achieve their development objectives.

We have been an Investor in People since 1993 and we recognise the importance of how we develop and manage our staff.

We support the continual development of our staff by offering

  • A comprehensive internal training programme
  • Specialist training for continual professional development
  • An Approved Qualification Scheme - a scheme of assistance to enable employees to study for and achieve professional qualifications

Apprenticeship scheme

We work with partners Amersham and Wycombe College to employ apprentices through the government Apprenticeships Scheme. The scheme enables young people to obtain on the job training, study for a nationally recognised qualification and earn money while they learn.

Amersham and Wycombe College offer a full recruitment service to help those interested find a job with a local employer. A link to their website is below.
