We run a regular household waste and recycling collection service.

Waste collections - our promise to you
- We will provide a regular collection of your domestic waste
- We will provide a wheeled bin to all suitable properties (charges may apply)
- We will make special arrangements where no able-bodied person can put the bin out
- We will return by the end of the next working day to collect your missed bins
- We will provide an answer phone for out of hours enquiries
- We will resume collections as soon as possible following any disruption to the service
Please note: Charges apply for providing wheelie bins and for special collections for bulky items. Waste and recycling charges
In return we ask that you
- Put your bin out by 7am on collection day
- Position your bin to prevent any obstruction
- Ensure collection vehicles have access
- Take your bin back in after collection
- Place all waste in the bin with the lid closed flat
- Use your green bin for food and garden waste
- Use kerbside collection boxes for paper, cardboard, plastic and cans
- Use the right container for the right types of waste
- Compost food and garden waste
- Do not put oil or paint in your bin. These should be taken to a household waste and recycling centre
- Recycle your glass, textiles, plastics and foil at a recycling centre
