Street care and cleaning

We offer the following services to help keep the Wycombe district clean and tidy.

Abandoned vehicles

We remove vehicles abandoned on public land. You can report an abandoned vehicle online. DVLA is responsible for dealing with untaxed vehicles. Phone them on 0870 240 0010 or visit their website using the link below.

Dead animals - removal

We are responsible for the removal of dead animals found in public areas.

Fly posting

We are responsible for the removal of fly posting from Council property and on the public highways in our areas.

Flytipping

We remove rubbish dumped on public land.

Graffiti

We remove graffiti from council property. Racist or offensive graffiti will be removed within 24 hours of being reported.

Litter and litter bins

We clear up litter in the Wycombe district. This includes providing, maintaining and emptying litter bins and recycling litter bins in public places.

Public toilets

We clean and maintain a number of public toilets in the district.

Road spillages

We are responsible for the scheduled cleaning of the highway. If an incident occurs which results in a spillage or debris on the highway, the highway authority, Buckinghamshire County Council (BCC) is responsible.

Street nameplates

We maintain street nameplates - these are the signs with your street or road name on. Please contact us to report a dirty, damaged or missing street nameplate.

Highway and directional signs are the responsibility of Buckinghamshire County Council. To report a problem with these, please call Highways on Call on 0845 230 2882.
