Pest control

Although many household pests can be dealt with using humane traps and chemicals available in the shops, if you have a persistent problem or are concerned about rodent or insect pests, it's advisable to call in the experts.

We have a contractor (called "SDK") operating a pest control service on our behalf. They treat the following types of pest:

• Fleas
• Mice (domestic)
• Rats (domestic)
• Ants
• Squirrels
• Glis glis (edible dormouse)
• Wasps
• Other types of pest such as bedbugs and cockroaches

If you do notice a pest problem, the earlier it is dealt with the better.

Please note that our pest control contractor does not deal with swarms of bees. There are amateur bee keepers within the Wycombe district who can remove swarms. For a local bee keeper and further advice, please contact the swarm officer of High Wycombe Beekeepers Association on 07527 798 659. The service is free of charge, but as the Association is a registered charity, they take donations from members of the public for providing this service - see link below.
