Food safety training
We run the following courses:
- Food safety in catering level 2 award
- Food safety refresher course
- Health and safety in the workplace level 2 award
- Supervising food safety in catering level 3 award
Courses are set by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). The "documents to download" at the bottom of this page contain an outline of each course, plus course dates and a booking form.

Location
The courses are usually held at the council offices in Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe. Other locations are used and the trainer can come to your workplace if you have more than ten people.
Course fees
The cost of the course depends on numbers booked, the type of course and location. Standard fees per person are as follows:
- Food safety in catering level 2 award - £65
- Health and safety in the workplace level 2 award - £65
- Supervising food safety in catering level 3 award - £250
The cost includes exam fees, training materials and refreshments (but lunch is not provided). An extra £10 per delegate is added if their business or residence is outside of the Wycombe district.
Number of attendees
The courses in the council offices run for between three and 16 people. If you want to hold the course at a different location, the minimum number is ten people.

How to pay for a course
We can invoice you and you can pay online or pay at any council office by credit card or cheque (made payable to "Wycombe District Council" with your reference number on the reverse - if you have one).
Cancellations and transfers
If you are unable to attend, please contact us to substitute another person or to transfer to another course. If you cancel less than ten working days before the course, your payment will not be refunded.
