Key stage 1
Where animals live
Through games and discussion the children will begin to understand that plants and animals in their environment have different needs and are found in different places.

Habitats
Children will explore two habitats and the creatures within them, looking at the similarities and differences and how the plants and animals interact with each other through food webs.

Plant Life Cycles
Through a variety of outdoor activities children will learn the parts of a flower and about different methods of seed and pollen dispersal.
