The following sources of help are available for local groups in the voluntary and community sector.

Grants

We offer several sources of funding to support not-for-profit groups and projects that benefit the local community.

Equipment and materials for community groups (orgs, schools, people)

Wycombe Resource Zone offers equipment for loan or hire, plus a scrap resource for local community and non-for-profit groups. More about Wycombe Resource Zone at the bottom of the page.

Support services for voluntary organisations at the Priory Centre

Our commitment to community groups

We've signed up to the Buckinghamshire compact [link], which is an agreement between local government organisations (like councils, primary care trusts and the police) and the voluntary and community sector. By signing up, we agree to follow good practice and work together as partners to help the people of Bucks.

Funding for youth activities: starting a youth club

Action4Youth provided WDC's Improvement and Review Commission with the following report in September 2009
Wycombe District Council currently provides a grant to Action4Youth through the Wycombe-One programme, to support the creation and development of voluntary led youth clubs in the district.
