We offer several sources of funding to support groups and individuals living in Wycombe district..

Community support grants

Our Community Support Grants have provided financial assistance to voluntary and community sector organisations in the Wycombe district for many years. A great number of residents have benefited from the services which the sector provides. We fully recognise and appreciate the skills, experience and expertise which the sector holds and which helps us to achieve its aims and fulfil its priorities for the district. Budgets are limited therefore all applications must include evidence of need and assurance that services will provide value for money for us.

Community Support Grants fall into two main categories. Small grants up to £1,500 and larger annual revenue grants of £1,500 upwards.

Up to £1,500

These grants provide capital funding to voluntary and community sector organisations to assist towards one-off projects, events and activities that are time-limited and directly benefit their local communities, for example community days, play schemes, community projects, older peoples' clubs, youth clubs, sports activities, school summer holiday projects and other similar activities. They can be applied for at any time throughout the year, either by downloading the application form via the link below, contacting the Community Grants Officer by telephone 01494 421 424 or via email: grants@wycombe.gov.uk

Applications are welcomed that will assist organisations to support their local communities. Please feel free to contact the Community Grants Officer for further information and advice. £1,500 and above

These larger grants relate to annual revenue grants, applications for which are accepted once a year for funding in the next financial year. The launch date for organisations to apply for grants in the financial year 2012/2013 will be 1 August 2011. Deadline for applications will be Friday 28 October 2011. Community facility grant - unparished area of High Wycombe only

A budget of £10,000 per year is available to give as grants to facilities which have community use as their primary purpose and are within the unparished area of High Wycombe. These grants can enable community facilities to make building improvements and to help fund essential works to ensure that they can remain available for public use.

Funding is available through a rolling grant programme which means that grants can be applied for at any time throughout the year. This ensures maximum flexibility for applicants; however it also means that those applying for funding late in the financial year may find that the budget has already been allocated.
