What is the Public Safety Team?

Wycombe District Council and Thames Valley Police understand that anti-social behaviour can have a significant affect on your quality of life. To help us provide a more effective service, we now work together in a merged team, known as the Public Safety Team and are based in the same offices within Wycombe District Council. The aim of the team is to provide a swifter, more coordinated response to reports of anti-social behaviour and by working with other agencies, to help improve the quality of life for the residents of the district.

Anti-social behaviour minimum standards

Wycombe Community Safety Partnership has produced a leaflet outlining its anti-social behaviour minimum standards. These are the standards the residents of Wycombe should expect when they contact any of the agencies responsible for dealing with anti-social behaviour.

The standards have been set in response to the Home Secretary's demands for tough local action against anti-social behaviour, announced last year.

Anti-Social Behaviour Bulletin

Every three months the Public Safety team now produce a short newsletter, called the Anti-Social behaviour Bulletin, the aim of which is to keep readers up to date with all the latest anti-social behaviour news in the Wycombe district. the latest edition is available for download at the bottom of the page.

Buckinghamshire Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy 2010-2013

The vision of this document is to ensure we work in partnership with communities to reduce anti-social behaviour, create a safe environment and improve the quality of like for those who live, work and visit Buckinghamshire. We understand the impact that anti-social behaviour can have on people's lives, and therefore the importance of how any incidents of anti-social behaviour are dealt with.

It is important for us to find out the extent of anti-social behaviour in your area and whether the actions being taken are making a difference. To help us understand this, and improve the service to victims, we have produced a short questionnaire which can be downloaded below.
