Chilterns Crematorium

Chilterns Crematorium is owned and operated by a Joint Committee on behalf of Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern and Wycombe District Councils. It is located just outside Amersham on the main A404 Amersham to High Wycombe road.

The Chilterns Crematorium has two chapels. These can be booked at half hourly intervals and funerals can be arranged on weekdays and Saturday mornings.

The Milton chapel has seating for 150 people with room for standing at the back. The Hampden chapel has seating for 60 people with room for standing at the back and another 24 chairs in the organ gallery.

The Garden of Remembrance which surrounds the crematorium buildings is derived from an existing woodland, to which many interesting varieties of trees and shrubs have been added. Ashes can be scattered in the woodland area of the garden, by arrangement.
