Operators of wet cooling towers and evaporative condensers must register these with us.

You can apply to register or change a registration online on the Business Link website:

Alternatively, you can download a form to register a cooling tower or evaporative condenser below.

There is no registration fee.

Legislation

The legislation covering this area is the Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992.

Consumer Complaint

We would always advise that in the event of a complaint the first contact is made with the trader by you - preferably in the form a letter (with proof of delivery).
